Oktra Awarded Bronze Considerate Construction Award

We are delighted to have been presented with a Bronze Considerate Constructors Scheme National Site Award for the build of our own Headquarters. We are the only company this year to have won this award for the construction of their own site.

Being selected to win a National Site Award is an exceptional achievement, of which we are extremely proud. From a total of 8992 registered sites only the highest performing sites were considered for awards.

Each site is judged on the “Code of Considerate Practice” which is broken down into five categories: Care about Appearance, Respect the Community, Protect the Environment, Secure everyone’s Safety and Value their Workforce.

Our site demonstrated the highest levels of consideration in all areas; achieving an overall score in the highest 10% in the UK.

The construction industry has a huge impact on all our lives, with most construction work taking place in sensitive locations. Oktra continues to demonstrate the highest levels of commitment towards the procedures and measures put in place to be more considerate towards the environment, the public, local neighbourhoods and their workforce.
