  • Accommodating business growth

In response to their business growth, UK Parking Control were relocating to a larger office space in Buckinghamshire and asked us to design and build a space that could accommodate their expansion. UKPC wanted to provide an enjoyable work environment for staff where their company culture could thrive – challenging the perception of their industry and acting as a magnet for regional talent.

  • Encouraging social interaction

UKPC needed to provide more workstations for their teams without compromising on space and comfort, as well as social space to allow employees to unwind and get away from their desks. The first floor provides open plan desking and a combination of informal and formal meeting settings, while the ground floor is dedicated to entertainment and social space. Here, UKPC can hold town hall meetings on the bleacher seating, eat lunch together, and have access to a range of games clustered around the board room. In contrast to many offices where the meeting facilities are distanced form the breakout areas, UKPC wanted visitors to view all the activity of their office from the boardroom to give an insight into what their brand stands for.

  • Fun and quirky workspace

Our client wanted their workplace to be as entertaining as possible and uplift staff during their work day. Bold manifestation, quirky signage, and a playful use of colour contribute to a fun and engaging work experience, with the piece-de-resistance being a slide connecting the two floors. One of the meeting rooms is acts as a barbershop, while another is presented as a summer picnic setting with artificial greenery and patio furniture.
