Founded by twin brothers, Anthony and Richard Joseph, homeware manufacturer Joseph Joseph earned global recognition due to their stylish and technically innovative products. Having grown a company out of their unique ability to match function and form, it was with approbation that our team undertook another Joseph and Joseph office refurbishment. They needed to expand their existing space on Guildford St due to company growth and required more adequate spaces to facilitate filming.

Manage and build
We conducted several in-depth design workshops with Anthony and Richard to construct a plan that met their vision and needs. They wanted the design to function as more of a showroom than an office yet remain in keeping with the look and feel of their current space. Going through every aspect in minute detail, our team constructed a complex open plan design, incorporating offices, a showroom and a test kitchen.

The new space
Focusing on their need for a showroom with adequate filming space, we installed a 1,000 sq ft fully accessible stainless steel test kitchen where camera crews could film from all corners and every angle. We upgraded the audio visual system to allow for hi-tech presentations and demonstrations for clients. The showroom features custom shelving systems to display their current collections and products. Our designer used a grey and white colour palette throughout to ensure the look and feel of the design remained consistent with their trademark branding. Selecting sleek, glossy cabinets, grey flooring and white walls created a minimalist backdrop that allowed their vibrant display of products to stand out.
