WeWork Paddington is located in a large modern building just a short distance from Paddington tube station. This sought-after location is WeWork’s first West London site, situated between Hyde Park and Little Venice and two tube stops away from trendy Notting Hill. WeWork Paddington is their new London flagship office and the workspace is designed to reflect this in size, finishes and aspiration.

Manage and build

Over 26 weeks, Oktra worked in collaboration with WeWork to complete a full Cat A and Cat B fit out over seven floors. This was all delivered in an ultra fast-track three-phase delivery each one month apart. The site is based in Paddington which is a large modern transport hub with a strong historical heritage. This was reflected in many of our design elements such as the “mind the grind” entrance flooring to mimic TFL’s infamous slogan.

The new space

Each and every space in this project was designed to inspire. The games lounge was created for members to come to connect with other coworkers to share ideas and experiences in a relaxed environment. “Break rooms” as they are sometimes called are often an overlooked feature of the workplace and are intended to encourage a mental and physical break from the working day. On each floor, we have created a breakout area with its own unique furniture selection and design. This space functions as a place to relax, eat your lunch, meet with clients, hold a meeting or brainstorm ideas.
