The pandemic forced us to adopt new ways of working and adjust our working habits and routines. Now that restrictions have been lifted and people are heading back into the office, there is a huge opportunity to leverage workplace design to get people to re-engage with the office. This is the ambition for Fluid Design is to provide a complete insights toolkit powered by exclusive research that reveals how design can transform the workplace and enrich the everyday lives of employees – with just a few small adjustments.
Dominic shared his views on the workplace based on his own experiences with his clients. “We see clients which have all of the right functions already in place, they are just in the wrong places. There must be mechanisms in place to promote positive distractions. By that, we mean those moments where colleagues might meet by a water dispenser or tea station and share knowledge, get to know each other and create a sense of belonging within an organisation.”
Fluid Design has the power to transform the workplace and enrich the everyday lives of employees. As the working landscape has changed once again, it important to consider how design can be used to draw people back into the office and make it an attractive destination for workers. This can also positively impact productivity, talent attraction and wellbeing.
