Oktra has had two projects named as finalists at the 2022 SBID Awards. Our projects for Grant Thornton and Fora have been shortlisted in two different categories.
Fora at 22 Berners Street has been shortlisted in the Office Design Over 2,000 SqM category and our project for Grant Thornton’s new office in Birmingham has been shortlisted for the Workplace Fit Out Project of the Year.
Fora at 22 Berners Street
The Office Design Over 2,000 SqM category includes entries from across Europe and features projects from some of the most well-known architects in the world. We are proud to be shortlisted in this category as recognition for the high-quality design capabilities we deliver on our projects. Fora create premium working environments and offer private serviced office space across London. The project for Fora at 22 Berners Street is a striking example of the design-rich, contemporary workplaces they offer. This space balances a modern serviced offering with residential features and is set against the backdrop of the original architecture of an existing warehouse-style building.
Grant Thornton
The Workplace Fit Out Project of the Year category features several standout projects from leading design and build companies. Our project for Grant Thornton is one of the high-profile projects we have completed this year as they relocated their Birmingham HQ into the city’s tallest building. The vision was to push boundaries and signify a departure from the previous office, creating a new ‘destination office’ that would entice staff back to work in the process. Hybrid working, branding and the influences of the local area energise this innovative Birmingham office.
The SBID Awards have steadily grown their influence in the design and architecture sector and now serve as a stamp of approval and exceptional achievement within the industry. The SBID Awards attract global interest which makes them highly competitive awards, setting a high standard in the process. One of the attractive parts of the SBID judging process is that 30% of the vote is determined by a public vote. There is still time to vote for our projects! Every vote counts and we are grateful for your support.
