Yendall Hunter, following a recent rebrand, sought to move into a new office space that reflected their refreshed identity and accommodated their growing team. The expansion necessitated a more spacious and sophisticated environment, a natural transition from their previous vibrant office setup.
As a repeat client, Yendall Hunter entrusted us with the project, leveraging our established understanding of their operations and preferences. The brief called for a mature, sleek design, shifting from bright colours to a more neutral palette that aligns with their evolved brand image. The goal was to create a refined workspace with understated elegance.
Our design approach began with a careful consideration of the building’s existing features, notably an exposed black ceiling that dominated the space. To balance this, we chose complementary tones and integrated Yendall Hunter’s brand colours—white, black, and a playful touch of yellow. The natural palette included wood elements, warm leathers, and biophilia, adding warmth and texture. Timber slats were used in the reception area to create an impressive arrival experience.
The new space predominantly features an open plan layout with fixed desks, fostering a collaborative environment. Two private offices and several internal and front-of-house meeting rooms provide spaces for confidential discussions and client interactions. The front-of-house area, including the reception and teapoint, is designed as a client-facing space, featuring darker finishes and benefiting from natural light through floor-to-ceiling windows.
Yendall Hunter’s previous office lacked adequate meeting spaces and had poor acoustics. We addressed these issues by increasing the number and quality of meeting rooms and adding acoustic treatments to elevate the meeting experience. This upgrade has significantly improved their operational efficiency and meeting quality.
In line with our sustainable practices, we reused much of the furniture from their previous office, preventing waste and reducing environmental impact. Desk screens were also reused, and existing furniture was reupholstered to align with the new brand colours.
The redesigned space provides Yendall Hunter with a professional and inviting environment, ideal for hosting clients and reflecting their rebranded identity. The office serves as a physical embodiment of their brand, helping to reinforce their market position and support business growth.
