London Construction Awards 2022: Regeneration Project of the Year

Oktra has been selected as a finalist in the Regeneration Project of the Year at the London Construction Awards 2022 for their project at One Portsoken.

We are pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted at the London Construction Awards 2022 (LCA). The LCA celebrates achievements, developments and innovation across London’s booming construction industry. There is a wide range of categories that cover different aspects of the industry from projects to individuals. We have been shortlisted for the Regeneration Project of the Year Award for One Portsoken. This category celebrates the best contribution to or catalyst for the regeneration of its local area within Greater London.

One Portsoken is a landmark refurbishment project of a statement Brutalist building of over 235,000 sq ft, consisting of an extensive nine-floor Cat A construction project. Oktra has maximised One Portsoken’s potential, infilling the central atrium to add 40,000 sq ft in a demonstration of innovative construction. This project has prioritised care for site staff wellbeing while providing a visually stunning space for the client, revitalising the building with innovative construction methods and striking design as well as providing a beneficial contribution to the local area.
