Oktra at Digital Construction Week 2023

Digital Construction Week is a two-day exhibition at ExCel that celebrates innovation in the built environment. With over 150 exhibitors and well over 5,000 attendees over the two days, this is one of the largest events that showcases the latest technology in the construction industry.

Two of the Oktra team to join the event as speakers and lead talks in their specialist areas. Head of Digital Design and Construction Alex Turner and Senior Design Manager Jose Navarro attended the event to share their knowledge on digital innovation in the design and build industry.

Alex’s talk on the Net Zero Stage shared an insight into the adoption of new technology at Oktra and how this has helped to eliminate fragmented building information and enhance delivery methods. He also gave some practical steps for businesses looking to implement and develop innovation and sustainability strategies.

Jose was on the Main Stage on a panel with other Autodesk Construction Cloud experts, discussing the impact of data within the construction industry. Jose explained how Oktra has implemented BIM 360 Docs to help streamline the flow of information between subcontractors and improving collaboration on projects.

Being invited to showcase our partnership with Autodesk Construction Cloud and share our experiences of their software is a strong demonstration of how Oktra are driving innovation with digital construction.
