We’re delighted to announce that Oktra’s project for Autotrader in Manchester has been announced as the winner of Design & Build Project of the Year at the Mix Awards 2026.
The Mix Awards celebrate the very best in workplace design and delivery, recognising projects that demonstrate outstanding creativity, collaboration and execution. Winning the Design & Build category is a significant achievement and reflects the scale, complexity and impact of one of Oktra’s most ambitious workplace projects to date.
Inspired by Autotrader’s journey from print publication to digital marketplace, the new headquarters tells a story through movement and discovery. Rather than applying branding at surface level, the workplace integrates the company’s identity into the architecture itself. Signature design features- including the dramatic suspended vehicle installations – guide people through the building while celebrating Autotrader’s heritage and future ambitions, creating a workplace experience that is both memorable and purposeful.

The Manchester headquarters marks our second major project with Autotrader, following the successful delivery of the organisation’s London office.
