Last week at Oktra we hosted our annual art show, inviting artists of all ages and experience to submit their artwork in support of our local charity. This year, all proceeds will support Lincoln’s Inn Soup Kitchen which helps to feed the homeless in the Holborn area.
The ‘Glitter Art’ themed event welcomed clients, colleagues, friends and family for a night filled with art-inspired activities and the opportunity to bid on their favourite submitted art pieces in the charity auction. We had an array of different entries this year, from political pieces to life drawings, collages to oil paintings!
Our judges awarded the ‘Best in Show’ prize to Lily Bishop with Colour Mish Mash and the ‘People’s Choice’ award went to Ellen Fehl’s Cactus.
Lara Cohen’s elaborate cake sold for a staggering £1,000 thanks to CEMS!
We have raised a grand total of £5,805.75 for Lincoln’s Inn Soup Kitchen! Thank you to all those who donated and submitted artwork!
The first ever Oktra Art Show was arranged as a way of saying goodbye to our old office. This year’s is the last one we will host in our current office, marking the start of saying goodbye to the space and looking to the next stage of Oktra’s journey.
