This is our second project in City Tower with Great Portland Estates plc (GPE), with a third in Portman Square. GPE are a prestigious investment and development company who wanted an inspiring and flexible ‘plug & play’ space that could be created cost-effectively and instantly let once work was complete.
The key was to understand GPE’s vision, which offers short-term licences rather than conventional leases. City Tower is a 21-storey building, which presented challenges to the logistics of moving materials in and out of the space via the lift. However, our team had previous experience of working in the building and had finessed the process.
The teapoint and breakout spaces are the focal points of the space, with a neutral colour palette and exposed worktop surfaces. The open plan office, with a spacious reception area and several meeting rooms, provides ultimate flexibility for any tenant to set up their business immediately. The quality that went into the build was well received by GPE and led to further collaboration on their other projects.
