New Street Consulting Group, a leadership consulting and talent solutions provider, had decided to relocate their office space to Leeds City Centre to attract the best local talent and expand their business. They wanted to upgrade their work environment in line with their future vision, and provide their staff with vibrant space that showcases their brand values. Our regional team and furniture specialists worked closely with NSCG to design an office space that would enable new ways of working, facilitate their growth plans, and ensure their workspace was shaped around their employees’ working needs.
NSCG’s new space is set up for agile working rather than fixed-desk working, providing a choice of places for employees to work, depending on their daily tasks. Upon entering the space, occupants are greeted with a relaxed seating area and a teapoint that is available to both staff and visitors. Meeting rooms are directly accessible from the welcome area, while the desk areas are positioned by the windows so staff can make the most of natural light throughout the day. The centre of the office includes high-back booths for informal meetings, a library table for collaborative or quiet working, and breakout furniture, which allows employees to choose the spaces that best suit their needs.
NSCG’s branding is showcased throughout the design of their new Leeds office, with the manifestation on the ground floor windows visible from the street, and bold brand colours featuring in the furniture fabrics and wall finishes. We helped our client to procure furniture solutions that enabled them to work in a more agile fashion, while also ensuring that all new furniture was in-keeping with the aesthetic of their existing pieces.
