Fast-Track Office Furniture Design for Schleich

    Schleich had moved into a Cat A+ office space and wanted a tailored furniture scheme to make the space their own and represent their brand. The German toy manufacturer was looking to increase their market share in the UK and grow their team, so they decided to move out of their previous office and place themselves in an area local to other competing firms and where they would have access to an increasing pool of industry talent.

  • A blank canvas

    The previous tenant had been through a space rationalisation exercise that enabled them to restack their workspace and sublet the remaining space to Schleich. Schleich now have the benefits that a new building offers such as a subsidised canteen, flexible space, parking facilities, and leafy surroundings. With the office space already partially furnished and functional, we needed to infuse Schleich’s DNA into the space with a fun and colourful furniture scheme.

  • Bringing people together

    Our Guildford team underwent a furniture consultancy with Schleich to find out their goals for the new office and designed a layout that would enable them to work in an agile way and bring their staff together. We procured furniture for collaboration and touchdown meetings throughout the open plan, providing work settings for meetings on-the-go and social interaction. Soft seating, natural materials and biophilia add a homely touch to the workspace and reflect modern design trends around hybrid working.

  • Brand identity

    The breakout space includes a teapoint and counter with a green wall, vibrantly juxtaposed with the bar stools featuring Schleich’s signature red. Splashes of their other brand colours are used across the workplace on cabinets and product displays to uplift the space and create a recognisable brand identity. The meeting rooms have integrated power and connectivity for presentations and virtual collaboration and feature a muted colour palette for a more professional setting.
