Creative Lead Gordon Byrne discusses the future workplace in the latest episode of the Oktra Voices podcast. Inspired by the release of our Future Workplace Report, Gordon breaks down his thoughts on how the office is evolving to support new ways of working.

The future workplace is a topic that dominates office design and workplace conversations as businesses look for answers about the emerging workplace. To help shape an idea of what future generations are looking for from the future workplace, we have created our own Future Workplace Report. We surveyed 1,000 Gen Z and Young Millennial office workers (18-34 year olds) to learn more about the younger generation’s expectation of the office in the future.

While the future workplace is already starting to take shape, the important thing is to bring an awareness of what’s working well currently and what areas need development. Gordon talks about the challenges that businesses are currently facing in their battle for talent as well as the ways in which office design must flex to cater for the next generation.
