How Absolute Collagen's New Space Empowers a Growing Team

Creating a dedicated space for expansion

Absolute Collagen began as a mother-daughter vision, a business founded at their kitchen table, driven by a passion for health, beauty, and innovation. Fast forward to today, and Absolute Collagen has grown into a leading brand in the beauty industry. As the team expanded beyond the limitations of a shared office, they sought a space that reflected their journey, supported their brand identity, and provided a permanent home for their growing team. Our challenge was to design an inspiring, agile workspace that could celebrate their roots while accommodating 70 employees in a flexible, collaborative environment.

Understanding and translating brand identity

From the start, Absolute Collagen’s vibrant brand identity was at the forefront of the project. We worked closely with their brand team to understand their ethos and translate it into the design. The result is a workspace infused with their signature elements—from brand colours to a unique display wall showcasing sachets of their product, which serves as a functional backdrop for content creation. Inspired by the company’s journey, the kitchen area was designed as the heart of the office, echoing the brand’s origins as a family business. Here, employees can gather, socialise, and participate in company-wide events.

Supporting wellbeing and social interaction

Absolute Collagen places a high value on employee wellbeing, which is evident throughout their new space. With large social areas and natural light streaming in from both ends of the workspace, we prioritised open layouts and strategically placed meeting rooms in the centre to maintain uninterrupted views. Biophilic elements, including plants and skylights, were incorporated to simulate an outdoor feel within the office, supporting a healthier and more inspiring work environment for employees. The result is a vibrant and wellness-focused space that reflects the brand’s commitment to holistic health.

Building a brand story through design

Key design features highlight Absolute Collagen’s journey and ethos. The office includes product displays throughout, mirrors in the boardroom to represent the brand’s health and beauty focus, and a wall filled with customer testimonials. These touches create a shared sense of purpose, aligning the physical workspace with Absolute Collagen’s mission and customer-driven values.

Absolute Collagen’s agile working culture is embodied in a layout that encourages interaction and adaptability. Open meeting zones, private call pods, and diverse collaboration areas allow the team to move seamlessly between tasks. Designed to grow and evolve, this office space reflects Absolute Collagen’s innovative, forward-thinking spirit, catering to every workstyle while nurturing collaboration and creativity.
