Envisioned
The decision for AnyJunk to relocate was prompted by an approaching lease end and their need for an improved workspace. Their previous space was a dated industrial warehouse in bad repair, located in Wimbledon with no reception and bad connectivity. Jason Mohr, the managing director, approached us to do a full Cat A and Cat B fit out of a shell and core space located in SW15.
Shaped
We worked exclusively with Jason throughout the process. In terms of the design, AnyJunk wanted to achieve an industrial look and feel. We chose neutral colours and used materials such as steel, brick and concrete to give the space an industrial aesthetic. Branding was very important as AnyJunk were going through the process of rebranding and their new office was designed to showcase their new identity. There were a handful of challenges throughout this project, such as working to a strict noise schedule as the site was situated below a block of residential units.
