  • Inclusive workspace

parkrun were relocating to Frameworks in the heart of Richmond. As they had grown, their previous workplace had become dispersed among small units, and they wanted to unify their teams in a communal space representative of their brand values. parkrun envisioned a light, open plan workplace that provided a positive, welcoming, and inclusive experience for their employees. As a brand that encourages and enables people to enjoy their local green spaces, we fed a nature theme into the design of the office to reflect their connection to the outdoors.

  • Connected to nature

We shaped our design around the existing floorplate on the top floor to maximise the benefits the building had to offer. The office is flanked by full height glazing on either side which gives way to exclusive terraces. With daylight flooding the office, we created meeting rooms with glazed partitions and chose natural materials and a soft colour palette to reflect the natural surroundings. We used Amtico’s terrazzo-style flooring with earthy coloured chips scattered throughout to add a modern twist and compliment the fresh aesthetic.

  • Reflecting brand values

Community is a key part of parkrun’s ethos, and they wanted their workplace to embody this. With the corner offices enabling uninterrupted vistas from the main office floor, employees have visibility over the entire space and are encouraged to interact and socialise at the central teapoint that opens directly onto the terrace. The relaxed and welcoming atmosphere is helping parkrun to create a culture reflective of their purpose and host clients in a space they can be proud of.
