  • Consult and design

Creston has grown to become a powerful creative communications, research and branding group.

Creston’s hallmark throughout its separate divisions has been a combination of agility, insight and creativity. Creston has been growing by acquisition. This project involved 7 different companies, from 5 different locations, coming together within the same work environment. Through a process of workshops and interviews we worked closely to understand these different needs and brands, all of which had individual requirements and personalities.

  • Manage and build

The initial work, a strip out of the existing fit out, was straightforward; the redesign was more of a challenge. Creston wanted a space with personality – ‘quirky but not too quirky’. The companies Fever, ICM Direct, TMW, Nelson Bostock and Things With Wings work independently and collaboratively, so a logical and practical flow throughout the six floors was important, as well as designing spaces where creativity would bloom. Driving business performance through collaboration, integration and communication was our brief, so the space creates opportunities for all staff to come together through team working and chance meetings.

  • The new space

Creston House at 10 Great Pulteney Street is now the head office and, following our complete redesign, home to a number of Creston’s core companies. The new space includes: a breakout area, games area and terrace as the main focal points, with a connecting lift and staircase linking and leading staff through the different divisions. Creativity and fun were also needed to define the working environment. The floors have been stripped back and injected with colour and soft furnishings. It is professional yet relaxed, bold and vivid yet reflective and sensitive – the ideal creative hub.
